Faria pulls off seasons first double play!!!

Saturday night saw one of the biggest crowds of the year,
Mainly due to it being skirt night. It also saw Mike Faria 
pull off the double play. The first one of the year at Costa Mesa.
Faria won the scratch main event and for the second week
in a row also won the handicap main event. Although last weeks
victory was argued by many, this weeks was a clear victory.
Many people saw Gary Ackroyd win last week's main event by well
over 1/2 of a bike length. However, the ref saw it different and 
gave the win to Faria. Tonight Faria fought his way to the lead
in four laps after leader Brian Burch crashed causing a restart.
From that point on there was no catching Faria.  In the scratch
side of racing Nor. Cal's Bart Bast made his second main event
in a row. Showing he could be in the running for this years top
crown. Next weeks is the last regular race of the year. It should
prove to be one of the best also. The racing always gets better
this time of the year. Be sure to make it. Also check out my
