JOHN "THE ICEMAN" ADEN SHINES

After a one week layoff due to the holiday, speedway returned with style. 
Tonight was Dan Nay night here at Costa Mesa. For the racers that
means $100.00 for every winner of every race including support classes.
Dan Nay put up $2500.00 of his own money, for us the fans to enjoy.
Let me tell you something, the riders tonight put on one heck of a show. 
They worked for that extra money. Tonight we saw some of the best passing 
I have seen in a long time. Every rider in every race gave 100%.
It was somthing to see. Thanks Dan Nay.
Got to see Jesse Finch tonight. He broke his femur two weeks ago
at Costa Mesa. He was back on crutches, no cast but a good additude.
He has a steel rod in his leg and says it will be there for two years.
On a personal note, I sat back and watched last years nationals on video 
tape. I learned a few things, first, the ref really has a tough job. 
I remember calls he made and thought he was wrong. Well he still may be
wrong but at least now I see why the calls were made. Second, Howie does a darn good 
job on these video's and you really should check out what he has to offer.
